5 tips for the best content strategy

Writing good content is not always easy. But of course, you guessed it, at FindFactory we don't turn our hand to it. Whether it's an awesome blog (like this one) or a thought-provoking post on Facebook, our content and social team has it up their sleeves. And now you may be asking yourself, "How do they do that?". We've listed some useful tips to get you started.

1. Post regularly

Social media are channels where many people can be found on a daily basis. On average, an Instagram user follows a few hundred accounts. So this guarantees a high daily dose of impressions and information that you, as a company, have to keep up with. When you post once, this is nice, but a content strategy is only complete when your target audience is reminded of your brand several times a week.

Setting up a content schedule is a wise choice if you want to post with some regularity. For example, use a content schedule to prepare and schedule monthly posts and photos.

2. Use emojis

Research has shown that using emojis increases engagement with your posts on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. So make sure you pick appropriate emojis with each post to encourage your followers to take action. Here, of course, it is important to make it fit the brand and channel. For example, on LinkedIn, it is not common to use emojis that express emotion. Here, practical emojis are more appropriate.

3. Use multiple channels

There are different audiences on different social media channels. But not only that, users on the various platforms also behave differently. For example, conversion goals via Facebook are easier to achieve than via Instagram and LinkedIn is ideally suited for tapping into a business audience. So to take advantage of all these opportunities, it is important to know which channels your target audience is on and to be active as a brand on each of these channels. This way you can be sure that as many people from the target audience as possible will see the messages.

4. Increase interaction

It is always positive when users interact with your content. There are a number of things you can do to ensure that more people will like, respond to or otherwise interact with your post. For example, it is advisable to include a question in the caption to invite the user to respond. Also, on both Facebook and Instagram, it helps to add multiple hashtags to the post.

5. The right tone of voice

Before you start setting up a content schedule where you post four posts with ten emojis every day, on each channel, it is wise to determine the purpose of your posts and who you want to appeal to. As discussed earlier, this can vary by channel. For example, you may choose to address followers with "you" on LinkedIn and not do so on Instagram and Facebook.
